How many pages should I have or do I need?

This really boils down to the message or information you want to convey. It could range from 1 to more than 100 pages, although each and every page must have a clear purpose. A typical product or service selling site should generally consist of these essential pages: Home, Services, Company, Contact, Pricing.

How much does a website cost?

Several factors affect the ultimate cost of your site: How many pages will you have? Will you sell products on your site? What kind of graphic work is involved? Do you want Flash animation? Would you like your site optimized so more visitors from your target market come to your site? How interactive would you like your site to be? Will you also need web hosting and domain name registration (see below)? Keep in mind that All Access Unlimited does high-end web design at fair prices. We do not do fair web design at rock-bottom prices. There are plenty of home-based web guys/gals who can do this for you. But, be careful, you get what you pay for.

How long does it take to have a website designed?

Time frames are determined by the size of your website and the complexity of its design. We like to allot anywhere from between 2 to 4 weeks to complete basic websites.

What if I’m not located near you?

Although not ideal without face-to-face contact, the global nature of the Internet means websites can be just as effectively designed and maintained from anywhere in the world, regardless of location. We are accessible through many online and offline communication means so it’s no problem where you are in the world!

What do you need from me to create my website?

The most important thing we need is your input. After speaking with you to cull your ideas, dreams, goals, etc., we use our design skills and technical expertise to create a sophisticated website that is functional and attractive. We’ll need your logo, any photos you’d like to use, written content you’d like to incorporate, plus brochures, flyers, newsletters or other artwork that identifies your business. If you don’t have but want some or all of these marketing tools-in addition to your website- we can provide all of it for you. Please tell us what you have in mind by using our Request A Quote form.

Is there a limit to how many graphics or pictures my site can have?

No, you may provide as many graphics or pictures as you need. If you provide these in digital format (on disk, in email, or CD) there is no limit or charge. If you need All Access Unlimited to scan, create, or find graphics, or take pictures for you, there will be a small additional charge, but we will be upfront about whatever this charge is so you won’t have any surprises.

Do I have a say in what my website looks like?

Absolutely! As a matter of fact we insist on it. We show you your site as it is being created, so that you can give us your input during the entire designing process. We also ask you to finalize the design before we move forward putting it together. We treat you the way we would want to be treated. And we guarantee your happiness or we’ll continue working until you become happy. That’s our goodness guarantee!

Can I change the content of my website?

Yes. If you choose to allow us to perform your site maintenance, simply send us your changes and we will update your site. Simple text alterations or additions are performed at the most reasonable rates available. More substantial changes such as page re-design will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

What if I already have a site and only wish to improve it?

We offer complete redesign of an existing site. We can use your existing text data and apply a new “look and feel” to your website. This can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost of a brand new site. Request your quote today!

What is a URL?

This stands for “universal resource locator,” which is the address typed in to view your web page on the Internet. For example, you would type in www.allaccessunlimited.com to access our homepage.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a specific website address that you choose and register with Network Solutions, which is the official registrar of domain names ending in .com, .edu, and .gov. Our domain name is “allaccessunlimited.com.”

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is a monthly fee that everyone has to pay to have a site on the Internet. We provide web hosting for our clients for less money than they pay elsewhere.

What is site maintenance?

Maintenance is a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what keeps your visitors coming back.

How do I switch over to All Access Unlimited for hosting?

Just tell us what you need and we’ll take care of everything. We will transfer your domain name along with all of your existing website content. Most hosting providers do not charge to transfer a Web address. Please note that All Access Unlimited does not charge for this transfer at all.

Can I choose you to design my site but still retain my own web hosting?

Sure, but you’ll probably be paying more by going with someone else. We have some of the lowest prices in the field.

What is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Even if you have the best website on earth, if it can’t be found by people using search engines (like Google), you may as well not have a site at all! Search engine traffic is the primary way most websites get business. An essential part of marketing a website these days is Search Engine Marketing (a.k.a. “Search Engine Optimization”), which is the process of “optimizing” your website so that people who are searching for your products and services will more easily find you. To get a significant amount of traffic from the search engines you need to be on the first page-a top 10 ranking. Certainly, anything past a top 30 ranking is not much different than not being listed at all.

How well do you do search engine optimization?

So you can be sure that from the start we design your site with the search engines in mind. Depending on the competition in your industry, we may be able to achieve very good placement. Our track record is one of achieving top rankings-but this depends on your industry’s specific keywords.

When is the earliest I can expect visitors to come to my site?

You don’t need to wait for weeks for the search engines to kick in. Press releases, publicity, banner ads, articles, newsgroup postings, radio/TV, newspaper ads, and other marketing methods can help generate interest and traffic to your site. This is what All Access Unlimited is all about! We’ll be glad to work with you on these and other methods, and we’ll be glad to help you by formulating a free customized marketing strategy.

What is a merchant account and how do I open one?

A merchant account is a bank account that tracks and transfers all credit card transactions on your site. In short, it allows you to accept credit card payments. To open an account you just need to apply for one. If you need a recommendation for an online merchant, just ask and we’ll be happy to suggest one.

What about e-commerce, database connectivity and shopping carts?

We offer a full-featured e-commerce system with shopping cart and database connectivity. Keep in mind that if you want it, chances are we can do it. That’s part of what makes us different-better-than our competition!

Who “owns” my website after it’s created?

Your website is yours-you own it 100%. But All Access Unlimited reserves the right to display any development (web design, banner, logo or other) in our online portfolio if desired. We are proud of our work and we like to show it to others whenever possible. Take a look at our portfolio to see a small selection of our recent achievements. We also like to put a tiny link to our URL on the bottom of each site we do, provided we have your permission to do so.

Do you provide support after my site is completed?

Absolutely! While getting your site online is a major part of our job, such things as updating, developing, maintaining and promoting your site are also important. We can continue giving you free consultation, and we’ll also encourage and help you take an active role in updating and marketing your site. We can also offer you a flexible and cost-effective maintenance contract if you want to devote more time to the business of marketing your site. In most general cases, we’ll be happy to help where possible.

How do I get you to design my site?

How will we start on my project?

First, you provide us with the goals and dreams you have for your website via a discussion. We then design a “mockup” prototype of what the home page will look like, and post it online for you to review and ultimately approve. Once you approve the design, we’ll build the rest of the website, create documents and populate them with data and (in most cases) images that you provide, or stock imagery from our collection, if necessary. You can supply us with content-or we can create content for you, depending on what we’ve agreed on. These are the basics for “getting started.”
